[18′] Mike repairs the music machine in Marta’s bar, then Marta, her grandchildren, Rafo and Mike spend the night having a bonfire, and later Marta sees Mike reading bedtime stories for her granddaughters. Then, there is a cut scene to Mike and Marta dancing in the bar.
[1:37′] After Mike leaves Rafo with his father, he goes back to Marta. They are dancing in the bar as the movie ends.

2.Time Lapse
[4′] The song is playing in the background after Howard tells Mike that he is not needed anymore, because of his accident and drinking problem. Then, a scene where he broke his back while riding is shown.
3. Tex Mex
[10′] Mike is traveling to Mexico in order to find Rafo. The song starts after his paperwork is verified by a policeman at the border.
[46′] The song plays when Mike and Rafo get to the closest city to buy food and clothes, as all their belongings were stolen (as they were robbed), and Rafo steals a car for them to continue their journey.

[11′] After Mike arrives in Mexico City, he goes to the address of Rafo’s mother’s house, to find a mansion in which is presumed Rafo lives.

[24′] Rafo’s mother tries to seduce Mike, but he doesn’t respond to her advances, so she threatens him with accusations of kidnapping if he doesn’t leave Mexico City as fast as possible.

[28′] After leaving Mexico City, Mike finds Rafo sleeping in the backseat of his car. Rafo steals his wallet to convince him to take him to his father, Howard.
8. Rafo’s Story
[34′] While Rafo and Mike spend the night in a field, Mike finds out about the boy’s bruises, caused by his mom’s bodyguard.
9. Time to Go
[41′] After they stop for a drink on their way to Texas, Aurelio tries to take Rafo back, but he gets beaten up by other men when they see Rafo’s bruises.

[52′] Mike and Rafo witness the car thieves being caught by the police (alongside Mike’s car) and decide to go back to the city they just left to escape the police (Federales).

[56′] While they are spending the night in a church, Mike tells Rafo about the help he received from Howard after his son and wife died in a car accident.
14. Horseback Montage
[1:00′] The song plays in the background after Rafo and Mike stop by a stud and offer to train wild horses. Mike then teaches Rafo how to ride a horse.
15. Marta Theme
[1:04′] The song plays after Marta tells Mike and Rafo how she lost her daughter and husband and is now taking care of her grandchildren.
16. He Still Wants Me
[1:10′] After talking to Howard, who revealed the true reason why he wants his son in Texas, Mike is helping Rafo to tame a horse. After that, they spend the night at the altar again.
17. Long Montage
[1:16′] The song plays in the background after Mike told the deputy that his dog should sleep in the same bed with him and his wife that night, knowing he might die of old age. Rafo makes money from training the horses, and Mike helps Marta cook.

[1:33′] Aurelio catches up to Rafo and Mike, crashing their car. He threatens Mike with the gun, but the rooster, Macho, flies on his head, disarming him and saving their lives.

[1:36′] After getting to the border of Texas, Rafo sees his father, Howard waiting for him. He thanks Mike for all he has done for him and in return he leaves Macho, the rooster, to Mike.
